Assignment description : VISA-AD “International Volunteering in the Service of Others” is a structure for sending, welcoming and supporting young volunteers motivated for social or educational services in France and abroad. Its role as a Union of Associations is to organize, recruit, monitor and train volunteers. We provide administrative support and advice to organizations so that missions are carried out in accordance with the ethics of Volunteering.
📢 This mission starts in January 2025 ❗ You will participate in the establishment and development of socio-educational activities carried out by the GET association with children, adolescents and occasionally families.
GET offers socio-educational activities aimed at children, adolescents and occasionally families in order to promote the value of relationships with others, education for difference, social inclusion and active citizenship.
📢 The volunteer will support the GET team in setting up the following activities: `
✔️ Organization of summer camps for children up to 14 years of age (during the months of June, July, August and September);
✔️ Participation in the establishment of educational and socialization activities in spaces for adolescents aged 14 to 16, municipal councils for children, a social library, etc.;
✔️ Set up creative and educational workshops in schools, extracurricular activities, etc.
✔️ The volunteer will also contribute to the operation and maintenance of a youth hostel managed by GET. It welcomes travelers, groups that participate in international exchanges and seminars for international volunteers, etc.

You will be accommodated by the host structure in exchange for a contribution of 100 euros per month. You will benefit from mandatory PSC1 training, “civic and civic” preparation for departure and intercultural seminars upon arrival. You will be supervised by a professional team and supported in the organization of your departure and your installation in Italy.
