Assignment description :
Planète Urgence is an international solidarity and development aid NGO created in 2000 and recognized as being of public utility. Our reason for being: to strengthen people for a united and sustainable planet. In this way, we work so that everyone can live with dignity and autonomy in a preserved environment. To do this, we have set ourselves three missions: 1/ Protect endangered forests and biodiversity 2/Promote the local development of communities 3/ Raise awareness about the environment.
Ecosystems and development - ECODEV is an environmental association created in 2015. Through its projects, it aims to guarantee the integrity of ecosystems, the sustainable management of forest and land resources and the improvement of the living conditions of communities.
Within a team of 4 ECODEV people, the volunteer will be required to:
- Participate in awareness-raising missions and community discussions;
- Participate in collecting testimonies from project beneficiaries;
- Support the compilation and processing of field data to be used to capitalize on the achievements of the project;
- Participate in the taking of images and videos in order to make a documentary on the subject of the project.
Training is mandatory. It will be organized over 3 days: 2 theoretical days + 1 day of PSC1 training before departure. The volunteer will be accompanied on site by the project manager as well as by the volunteer manager from Planète Urgence.
Field trips will be taken care of. The accommodation will be taken care of by the ECODEV structure.
