Assignment description : AF plays a leading role in the cultural life of the city, which is renowned in the country for the dynamism of its artistic scene. Located in the heart of the western Guatemalan altiplano, at an altitude of more than 2,300 m, Quetzaltenango is a booming historic city.
The mission is part of the global project of the network of AF and French-speaking institutions around the world: volunteers are called upon to contribute to the promotion of our language and our culture. It works for cultural cooperation, and the mutual understanding of peoples.
The proposed actions:
Promote French and Francophone cultures through various cultural activities and events:
- Support for the production and logistics of events during the Alliance Française cultural season
- Development of audiences
- Organization, promotion and animation of workshops related to French-speaking cultures (for example: cinema workshop, cooking, conversation, children, etc.)

Participate in the development of intercultural exchanges between France and Guatemala:
- Research local partnerships and establishment of conventions
- Watch over the city's cultural activities and proposals for new actions
- Creation/sharing of content related to Francophone cultures on social networks

Support for communication and institutional relationships.
