Assignment description : The mission will be carried out within the cultural department of AF, whose general objective is to promote French and Salvadoran cultures. Our institution pursues a cultural policy that aims to promote intercultural dialogues and awareness of societal issues.
The volunteer will have the mission of supporting the media librarian during various projects, welcoming the public, co-animating activities, setting up new projects.
The volunteer will support the media library team in monthly activities:
- The creation of content for social networks.
- Welcoming customers
- Media library discovery activities (Carrying out a relay activity to introduce students to the media. Visit to the media library)
- Creation and animation of activities and workshops: lead book clubs, organize and participate in “book fairs”, be in charge of the “Book of the month” with the intern.
- Implementation and support of a third place project
- Projects with other French Alliances in Central America
- Support and follow-up in the implementation of the digitization of the media library
- Work in close collaboration with the cultural and educational center of the Alliance Française.
- Be available to carry out activities with our partners (universities, NGOs, other academies that teach other languages, museums, cultural centers...).
