Assignment description : The Alliance Française de Quito is a non-profit Ecuadorian cultural association, part of an international movement that seeks to create mutual dialogue through French language courses and cultural events.
The volunteer will be required to work with 2 other volunteers in civic service, within the media library team and transversally with the team of the cultural department and the team of the educational department in order to carry out the projects proposed by the AF media library in Quito.
The volunteer will have the mandate to contribute, to the director of the media library, to the activities of the Alliance Française media library in Quito:
- Reception of the public/loans, returns, storage, storage, processing of collections/mailings, shipments
- Contribution to bringing new audiences to the media library, to supporting them in their research
- Promotion of resources and valorization of collections among new student learners at AF Quito,
- Animation in connection with new digital technologies, new practices, example creating podcasts, stop motion, augmented reality
- Visit the classes to present the cultural programming of the media library and the opening hours in pairs,
- Participation in the project to modernize the media library in connection with new digital practices and new technological uses in pairs for students learning French at the Alliance Française.
Compulsory training of two days is planned in Paris.
